- Welcome to Fine and Dandy Dressmaking! Your affordable dressmaking, design and alterations service in Wellington, N.Z. I do repairs and alterations, pattern-making, reproduction of your old favourites, basic tailoring and love to make dresses. If you are looking for something special, a ball dress or bridemaids frocks I would love to make up your pattern or original design. I work from my home in Aro Valley, please email with any inquiries. I have always loved to design and make things- 100% New Zealand made fashion, accessories and other goodies, I also produce my own fashion line Love Love Lorelei, see the Lorelei Blog for info on stockists and my online shop.
